Central Michigan Sportsmen Club is home to the Central Michigan Goldstars!  They are part of the Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA) Youth Archery Organization, a nationally recognized organization. 

The Goldstar team is open to youth archers aged 8-18.  Archers can shoot compound bows with a hunter setup or an open setup.  Barebow or Olympic Recurve are also classes available to youth to shoot in.  Their distance is based on their configuration and age. 

They focus on three archery disciplines:

In the winter, the Goldstar team focuses on indoor targets where archers shoot at a single spot or a 5-spot paper target. 

In the spring, they move outside to shoot 3D targets and outdoor targets. 

The Goldstars shoot in regional, state, and national tournaments.  The Goldstars have won numerous state and national titles over the past several years.  They first focus on the fundamentals of archery, then fine-tune and hone their skills. 

They also focus on the conservation of wildlife, hunting, and providing services to their community.
